The Klondike Bar is a storied American ice cream product, and a favorite among male consumers especially. But it hadn’t introduced a product innovation in forever. So, the brand developed the Klondike Kandy Bar to keep up with the Joneses. That is, Drumstick.
The Way
to breakthrough innovation
Porn. Okay, ice cream porn, but produced in the spirit of '70s porn shoots in the Valley, with a humorous bent geared toward male consumers. The innuendo may have been cartoon, but the temptation was real. We used this format to allow customers to imagine how in the world Klondike dreamt up new product creations.
